Canyon Creek Little League volunteer requirements
Each family is expected to volunteer a MINIMUM of 6 hours to the League or team. There is a $125 per family participation fee. Families can fulfill their volunteer requirements by assisting the League in one or more of the following ways:
- Holding a CCLL Board position
- Helping at tryouts
- Managing/coaching a team (one manager and 2 coaches per team)
- Being team parent
- Team scorekeeping
- Doing field preparation before and after games
- Helping with scheduled tournaments
The team parent from each team will report to the League those who have fulfilled their volunteer hours, at which time the family will be refunded their participation fee.
Canyon Creek Little League volunteer refund process
All team volunteer work will be tracked and managed by individual team parents throughout the season. Team parents will submit a list of volunteers who have completed their minimum 6 hours of volunteer work to CCLL Head Team Parent (Mei-Mei Stark) during the week of June 1st. Volunteer work will be verified as necessary with team parent or manager. Refund checks for the $125 volunteer deposit (one deposit per family) will be mailed directly to volunteers by July 15th. On some occasions, there will be broad CCLL volunteer opportunities that will be coordinated with Mei-Mei Stark. There will be no volunteer refunds processed after June 30th.
